A dynamic computer programming language. It is lightweight and most commonly used as a part of web pages, whose implementations allow client-side script to interact with the user and make dynamic pages.
HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language. It is a formatting language used to define the appearance and contents of a web page. It allows to organize text, graphics, audio, and video on a web page.
Cascading Style Sheets, fondly referred to as CSS, is a simple design language intended to simplify the process of making web pages presentable.
React is a front-end library developed by Facebook. It is used for handling the view layer for web and mobile apps. ReactJS allows us to create reusable UI components.
Python is a general-purpose interpreted, interactive, object-oriented, and high-level programming language.
Full-stack Developer & Graphic Designer based out of NYC
I am Full Stack Web Developing Engineer currently studying at Pursuit, an intensive 12 - month software engineering fellowship with a 9% acceptance rate! I always loved technology and I worked for Unisys as a Dell Technician where my job consisted mostly of computer hardware repair, computer diagnostics, and computer maintenance. When the opportunity to join Pursuit became available I didn't hesitate to join, I wanted to learn the software side of things and I am so excited that I finally am!! I am excited that in this coming year I will be learning programming languages such as CSS, JavaScript, Html, SQL, Node.js, Express, React, Redux, Firebase, Adobe Creative Suite, Python, and C#.
I am bilingual, I speak both Arabic and English fluently. I am also a big gamer and I like to play mostly mmorpg type games, but I will try any game at least once and then see if I like it, then I'll play it again and if not at least I learned from that experience. I am extremely creative and love to draw and paint. I am honest, hard working, and passionate about everything I do. If I try to do something then I always give it a hundred and ten percent or then I feel there wouldn't even be a point in trying, so I always give my all.
A selection range of my projects
It is a game based on Norse mythology where you have to help Thor save Asgard. I organized my ideas by using Trello and implemented the use of variables, functions, and logical operators to solve problems. The game also implemented readline-sync to allow the user input into the terminal. It runs in Node.js and has some text based color and animation packages to apply chalk and figlet.
It is a guessing game similar to Hangman that randomly selects a word from a dictionary and gives the user a certain number of guesses to find the solution. I created this game using javascript to solve problems by implementing loops, conditionals, objects, arrays, strings, and functions. I styled it using a package called chalk and used a dictionary API. It runs in Node.js showing you colored text and if you won or lost and in how many moves.
